My 14 year old grandaughter had very bad chapped lips with a red dermatosis ring around her top lip. We could not get an appointment with the local dermatologist for 6 weeks. Meanwhile, we tried any/every kind of chapped lip product available to us.
A second call to the dermatologist's office and I was able to speak to the nurse. She suggested I purchase Dr. Dans Medicated Lip Balm and try using it until we could see the doctor. 3 days later......she hardly had signs of chapped lips! Im certainly a believer that this is the best on the market. It is an over the counter product and if you cant find it at your local pharmacy, you can buy it online.
